Technical Support Specialist
I have nearly 20 years of experience problem solving, presenting technical Information, providing process improvements, software maintenance, software testing, and network design and implementation for computer systems. I ensure the functionality and use of all computer operations for Colliers Dallas-Fort Worth offices. I evaluate and improve computer systems and existing programs and maintain system capabilities for 160+ users. I am adept at installation, upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting, and repairs on hardware, software, and peripheral problems; and I am capable of resolving difficult problems in the areas of hardware, applications, and operating systems.
Prior to joining Colliers, I provided systems support at AIC Systems for their various clients for nine years. For their client Cingular Wireless, I managed five technicians and 180 stores and kiosks throughout the East Coast and Midwest regions. For EDS/HP data center, I supported all clients housed in their data center. For Safe E-Volt, I found solution to client problem and helped customers work through technical difficulties. I implemented and upgraded new networking equipment, servers and workstations while working with server OS from Windows NT, Server 2000, Server 2003 and Server 2008. Implemented Exchange Server 2003 and 2007. I also led virtualization project to set up high availability for Windows server clusters utilizing Virtual Iron and later on VMWare ESX and ESXi.
I began my career in information systems at AT&T where I interfaced with clients to implement frame relay DLCI ports and PVC.
