Robert Hantgan joined Colliers International in 2010 as a Senior Vice President. He is part of the Colliers National Retail Steering Committee as the Western Territory Chair. His area of expertise is primarily tenant and landlord representation.

With more than 25 years of experience, Robert has developed and executed the market expansion plans for several national and regional retail and restaurant chains. He also has ownership interest in retail projects totaling more than 400,000 square feet. His practice includes the identification and analysis of sites, the creation of company specific market strategies, lease negotiations, permit procurement and site development.

In addition, Robert has served as the exclusive real estate representative for the publicly traded Cosi restaurant chain, Chop’t, Kidville and Hooters, and in such capacity, assisted in the roll out of approximately 200+ locations in 20 states.

Prior to joining Colliers International, Robert was Vice President for Esquire Properties in New York City where he specialized in retail expansion, tenant representation and retail development.
