About

Professional Summary

I am Vice President of Research and Information Technology for Colliers International | South Carolina, responsible for refining the methodology of the collection and evaluation of office, retail, industrial and medical market information across South Carolina. I bring a unique perspective to my role because I personally tour all areas of South Carolina in which we research.

I am also responsible for planning and executing specialized research projects for Colliers’ corporate solutions clients as well as participating in client presentations. As a consultant, I bring many years of market experience to my clients and the company and strive to always provide unbiased information. I manage the firm’s platform for Colliers’ staff and clients, including information technology, integrated systems, databases, internal project management and quality control. I look at things from a macro level and enjoy watching our economically diverse state grow and develop over time.

Accomplishments

In 2019, I was named to the Colliers’ Center of Excellence, an internal company platform designed to facilitate conversation between subject matter experts and share best practices across markets.

In 2004, I was selected as one of “20 under 40” by The State newspaper. I am also a recipient of the 2014 Presidents Award from Colliers | South Carolina.

Education

I am a 1988 graduate of the University of Texas and received a Master of City and Regional Planning from Clemson University in 1999. I have always been interested in commercial development and am able to apply my educational background in these areas to research at Colliers.

Memberships & Involvements

I am the Chair of the Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority (COMET) Board of Directors and a former Vice Chair of the Board. I am a member of the Environmental Policy Advisory Committee for Central Midlands Council of Governments. I am also on the Board of Directors of the Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA), having previously served as a former Chair for the organization.

In the past, I have been a member of the City of Columbia Planning Commission, the Executive Committee of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and am a past Chair of the Partner in Education Committee.

The Boy Scouts of America is an organization that I am passionate about. As an Eagle Scout, I enjoy watching as my sons gain valuable life and leadership experience in the scouting program.
