Sandra Johnston is responsible for the daily handling of 23 properties that include both retail and office space. Her responsibilities include lease administration, monthly financial reporting on both a cash and accrual basis, bank reconciliation, vendor payments, transactions analysis, 1099 compliance and working closely with property managers to assure owner's financial needs are met. 

Sandra has more than 35 years experience in the accounting profession including a broad range of experience in real estate accounting. Her experience includes several years in public accounting and 25 years at Protective Life Insurance Company where she was 2nd Vice President of Corporate Accounting. She was also the Accountant/Controller for the Birmingham Cultural & Heritage Foundation, popularly known as City Stages, where she managed oversight of accounting operations as well as served as a Board Member. Sandra joined Colliers in 2014 as a property accountant.
