About

Professional Summary

I am a commercial real estate agent at Colliers International | Hartford in Connecticut. I specialize in multifamily apartments ranging as small as 5 units to 300, retail, and office. I offer services both in a brokerage and tenant/buyer representation capacity.

I am a member of the Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW) CT Chapter and served as co-chair of the Careers Committee in 2017. Over the years, I have spoken at several CREW events and local real estate panels.

As a lawyer by trade, my clients benefit from attention to detail and thorough research. I tackle difficult assignments with a fresh perspective and some extra effort. For example, a 264 unit apartment building had a long term retail vacancy on the first floor. I courted and ultimately secured a high credit tenant that complimented the unique limitations of the building and added nearly $1.5m in value to the asset. I also represented a hopeful medical marijuana growing company during the initial round of licensing and had a building that complied with applicable regulations under contract for purchase in less than 1 week when most companies called for a 4-6 month timeline.

When I’m not at Colliers, you can find me playing volleyball, rescuing foster dogs with Double Dog Rescue, or hosting local networking events for new real estate investors.

Testimonials:

“Stephanie was invaluable during the purchase of our office building. Aside from the usual property touring, she managed deadlines, secured necessary contractors, provided insightful edits to the purchase and sale documents, and artfully negotiated reductions to an already good price on the building. She was always responsive with a direct answer, even when she was out of the office. In the end, we saved money and a somewhat complicated transaction went smoothly because of Stephanie.”

“We were very pleased with the work and effort you did for us and … your superior effort. I wish we had a broker of your caliber in [other markets] …we hope you will work with us again.”

– Jon B.

“Stephanie Cabral is an excellent [agent]. I have worked with her side by side on several projects where she takes on many more responsibilities than “just” [an agent]; many times she is more akin to a property manager working with a sold space than someone trying to sell it. She never once has just unlocked a door and stayed outside to take or make a phone call and she always has the right people scheduled together for maximum efficiency of any given walk through. In a particular instance with a client who had difficulty with technology and English she acted as communications liaison between us by: forwarding emails, taking calls, and setting up appointments as if she were one or both of our personal assistants. At a site-walk, this client instantly handed her phone to Stephanie so that information could be shared properly and quickly as if handing the phone to a granddaughter. As a straight forward, fact driven, and honest person her clients place their trust in her and, when necessary, they take news they didn’t want to hear in stride. She is persistent without being pushy, informative without being condescending, and helpful, always helpful. Stephanie is raising the bar of what it means to be a realtor and she does it all with professionalism and grace.”
