Travis Yates is a Vice President in the  Colliers International Salt Lake City Downtown Office, specializing in the leasing and sales of office properties and corporate services. Travis’ sole focus in commercial real estate is to provide exceptional, high quality service to his clients. As a trusted advisor, he provides in depth and real-time market knowledge, creative negotiation strategies, financial analysis and detailed reporting to assist his clients in making strategic real estate decisions.  Travis earns the trust of his clients by consistently delivering bottom-line results which are earned through hard work, attention to detail, great communication and responsiveness, integrity and a focus on building long-term relationships.   

Travis is a rising star in the commercial real estate industry and represents a number of significant tenants and projects in Utah. Notable tenants include First American Title Company (all Utah locations), Costa Vida (corporate headquarters in Lehi, Utah), Nightingale College (corporate headquarters in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah), nThrive, USI, Thyssen Krupp and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. Notable projects include Walker Center, Sorenson Research Park, One Sandy Center, Jordan Gateway Plaza, Swapp Corporate Center, International Plaza, City Place and 77 WEST (formerly American Plaza 1).

Before joining Colliers International, Travis was an Office Vice President at CBC Advisors and an Office and Investment Associate at Cushman & Wakefield Commerce in Salt Lake City. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield Commerce, Travis spent several years as a real estate investor, property manager and sales agent. Travis holds multiple rental properties, which provide him added perspective and knowledge in working with tenants and landlords. He was a top producer for six years with the Professional Education Institute, selling over $6.5 million dollars of real estate investment and entrepreneur coaching programs. Prior to his work in real estate and coaching sales, Travis worked as an analyst for Morgan Stanley, where he developed valuable analytical and decision-making skills.

Outside of the office, Travis is a seasoned traveler, having explored over 30 countries (including a trip around the globe in 2012). While at home, he spends much of his free time boating, golfing, camping, hunting, hiking, snowboarding and following his favorite sports team, the Utah Jazz. Travis also serves as a youth leader in his church, spending several hours each week mentoring young men and women and helping plan meaningful service activies.  Most importantly, Travis is a devoted family man who loves spending time with his family, especially his beautiful wife Brittany and their two daughters Hannah and Charlie.
