After five years of experience with Colliers International | West Michigan, I have extensive knowledge of property evaluation and a thorough understanding of the industrial marketplace. My ability to develop strong customer relationships and sales initiatives has allowed me to achieve record-setting sales, and increase profit margins. Being a native of West Michigan, I have an in-depth knowledge of the market and what various market segments offer.

Using the market’s strongest in-house research and marketing teams to gather the most detailed and up-to-date comparables, GIS maps, and targeted client lists, I can find new locations, or market an existing property with success. Teaming with Colliers’ marketing department, I can create custom marketing pieces and specialized events to better present my client’s property.

Prior to my role as an associate vice president, I worked for Colliers’ research department by canvassing and maintaining LINK, the company’s CRM database.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Marketing from Grand Valley State University.

Clients:

Successfully represented and guided the investors of a 200 acre commercial and industrial land development located in Hudsonville, Michigan. Using his expertise and market knowledge, Trent was able to recommend certain parcel sizes and characteristics so the available property would align with the demand in the market. Within 15 months, Trent was able to bring a high amount of diverse users to occupy and purchase the available land, including a 20 acre sale to a local food manufacturer.

Represented a family owned company in the sale of their 100,000 SF manufacturing facility. Subsequently, Trent represented the new buyer in the leasing of their excess space. This provided additional cash flow to the new ownership.  

Represented the landlord with the leasing of their 160,000 SF warehouse and distribution center. In 15 short months, Trent was able to rapidly increase the occupancy from 35% to 95% by securing 23 notable tenants.  

Represented the owner with the leasing of their 200,000 SF industrial facility. The owner was looking to lease approximately half of the building to a large manufacturer, and with great success, Trent was able to lease 40% of the facility to a long-term, national tenant.

Represented the owners of an 85,000 SF, Class A self-storage facility in Hudsonville, Michigan. Two cash offers were presented in which an out-of-state investor ultimately won the deal. Through Trent’s experience and knowledge, he was able to consolidate and restructure the facility’s financial information before presenting the property to multiple national self-storage investors. This transaction was an excellent success for all parties involved.
