Professional Summary

As a Project Manager for LCK, I am responsible for a variety of projects, ranging from new construction to renovations and leasehold improvements. I bring a keen attention to detail and extensive knowledge of the construction process, which allows me to effectively communicate with my clients, constantly keeping them in the loop throughout the process. I have proven successes in project management, including ground up construction, renovations, additions, K-12 schools, mixed-use buildings and water treatment plants. This variety of experiences has given me the skills and knowledge beneficial to LCK’s wide range of clients.

I aim to be adaptable in understanding and relating to all members of a team while working to translate a client’s vision on a project. I find that this is vital in seeing a project to a successful completion. I focus on diligently seeking out potential problems and reaching a resolution to prevent schedule and cost impacts.

Accomplishments

In my career, I am proud to have built an extensive yet diverse portfolio of projects through working for a contractor, in preconstruction and project management, and full-time in the field. I define success as turning over a building to a client that is early or on schedule, under budget and exceeds the quality and expectations of that client.

Outside of the office, I spend my time volunteering at the Humane Society. I am also a member of Midtown Church. My hobbies include wakeboarding, snowboarding, playing the guitar, traveling and doing DIY home projects.

Education

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in Construction Management. While at Auburn, I began my career in project management through a co-op with a construction company, which gave me real-world experience in the industry prior to graduation. After graduation, I began a full-time position as a pre-construction specialist and project manager for a regional construction company in Atlanta, GA, where I managed construction projects for K-12 schools and mixed-use buildings. I was relocated to Columbia where I worked on-site, full time in the management of a multi-phase student housing project for the University of South Carolina.

Prior to LCK, I worked as a project manager for a Columbia-based construction firm where I was involved in management of construction of water treatment plants as well as preconstruction and estimating.
