Bill began his career in the sale of steel and aluminum mill products working for Ducommun Metals & Supply for approximately five years. He soon became a product specialist and then moved into management.

Bill then formed his own company with a client and became owner and partner of Dow-Cal Manufacturing Company and Rasmussen Screw Products, where he was responsible for all sales and financial matters pertaining to the business of fabrication of metal products for approximately 10 years.

Having been with Colliers Seeley for about five years, Bill was admitted as an individual member to the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (S.I.O.R.) in 1978. He also became a member of the American Industrial Real Estate Organization (A.I.R.), and is a long-standing member of the Los Angeles Board of Realtors.

In addition, he is a former Director and Treasurer of the Hillsides Home for Children in Pasadena and a former Director of Colliers USA.

Bill earned his bachelor of arts degree from Stanford University in 1956.
