Charlie has over 40 years of experience in the maintenance field, specializing in building maintenance and operations. He is currently the Chief Engineer at Peabody Plaza, a 15-story, multi-tenant Class A office building in downtown St. Louis. Peabody Plaza is the world headquarters for Peabody Energy, the largest private-sector coal company in the world. Charlie's main responsibilities include the successful operation and maintenance of all mechanical, plumbing, fire/life safety and electrical systems at the Building, assuring that daily system work orders are achieved in a timely manner, assisting with building security programs and systems as requested, and building emergencies when they arise. He is also responsible for the direction and supervision of two maintenance technicians that assists him. Charlie's training in the U.S. Navy serves him well in his role as he is able to perform in-house maintenance on a wide variety of equipment resulting in savings to building ownership.
