Rita is a licensed California real estate salesperson, holds a BOMI Real Property Administrator certification and has completed the BOMI Facilities Management Administrator courses making her an FMA candidate. A Los Angeles native, she is extremely familiar with the local market and the unique needs of office with large parking facilities, retail, mixed-use, in the region. She is a skilled senior property manager, with demonstrated performance managing property portfolios approaching one million square feet and close to ten buildings. Rita began her career in commercial real estate with Cushman & Wakefield as an Assistant Property Manager in 2000.

Prior to joining Colliers International, Rita was a Senior Property Manager with Oceanwest Management Services. There, she oversaw the day-to-day operations of two office buildings totaling 241,000 square feet. Rita’s Southern California management experience in includes Century Park Center (246,448 square feet), Kilroy Airport way (600,000+ square feet), and Union Bank Plaza (627,334 square feet).  Rita’s experience also includes tenant improvement projects from construction meetings through to conclusion, and full floor office space construction. In addition, Rita has significant building improvement capital experience including HVAC replacement, roof replacement, cooling tower replacement, mold remediation, tree removal and sidewalk repair, and parking lot remediation.

Finally Rita is well versed in integrating with the leasing process by assisting brokers with renewals and new leasing requirements.
