Professional Summary

I am a 20+ year industrial real estate veteran with an established track record of helping clients in two specific disciplines: providing real estate services to large retailers and multinational corporations, and helping Chicago-area manufacturers, distributors, landlords and land owners relocate facilities and dispose of excess real estate.

My services include site selection, incentive procurement, labor studies, union penetration analysis, lease negotiation, lease renegotiation, lease buyouts, capital market interaction and sales to investors.

Over the past two decades, I have assisted multiple Chicago-area companies looking to right-size to either other locations in Chicago, suburban industrial parks, or to bordering states. I often simultaneously find my clients a new location while disposing of their former location. 

My accomplishments include helping my client of 15 years, a major home improvement retailer, revamp its entire distribution network, including the recent lease of a 1.8 million-square-foot internet distribution build-to-suit. I have also negotiated more than $30 million in tax incentives for my clients.

Colliers International | Chicago’s Industrial broker team is a dominant force in the market. The team has been involved in more than a quarter of all industrial lease transactions greater than 50,000 SF completed since 2012, allowing clients unmatched market research and access to a “market within a market,” resulting in completed transactions from unlisted buildings that never truly hit the market.

I enjoy spending time at the ice rink playing, coaching and watching hockey with my wife and son; fronting many Chicago blues bands as a soul singer; and remaining a student of supply chain, learning on my own and through SIOR and AIRE, industry organizations. I always remain accessible to my clients—something I view as a key to my success.
