Cajun Seafood Chain Takes Popular Space Between Lehigh Valley Mall and Whitehall Malls

August 31, 2020 [Whitehall, PA] – Crab DuJour is preparing to open its newest location in Whitehall, PA. 

Crab DuJour is a fast-growing cajun seafood restaurant chain with a focus on a relaxed atmosphere and Southern charm. The menu offers generous portions of authentic home-style seafood recipes, made fresh daily. The restaurant’s signature Cajun Style low country boil is a proven crowd-pleaser.

The new restaurant will be located at 1053 Grape Street. The highly desirable 2,000 square foot location is adjacent to both the Whitehall and Lehigh Valley Malls on an established restaurant corridor that is also home to Longhorn Steakhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, Red Lobster, The Olive Garden, The Keystone Pub and Bonefish Grill. The highly visible stretch of road exposed to up to 18,000 vehicles per day.

Opening is slated for early 2021 or sooner, pending any rules set place by state regarding COVID-19.  

Seth Lacey of Colliers International’s Allentown office brokered the deal, representing the landlord in the transaction. This lease represents the conclusion of leasing to bring the property to 100% occupancy. A year ago saw the property at 50% vacancy – Colliers has now successfully filled two long standing vacancies, despite a particularly tumultous year for retail. Crab DuJour was represented by Lip Fei Jiang with Chibeca Real Estate.
