Boise Metro Chamber Announces Jim Shipman of Colliers International to Board of Directors

-- Jim Shipman, along with five other community leaders will join the Chamber’s Board --


Boise, ID – The Boise Metro Chamber announced the selection of Jim Shipman of Colliers International Idaho to the Chamber’s Board of Directors. Jim will be joined be five other new community leaders including:
Odette Bolano, Saint Alphonsus; Kate Eldridge, HDR Engineering; Kate Morris, KTVB; Sean Robbins, Regence Blue Shield; Jodi Whittaker, Whittaker & Associates. Each member will serve a three-year term.


“The addition of these new community leaders helps solidify the Boise Chamber’s Board as one of the most influential bodies in Idaho” said Bill Connors, President and CEO of the Chamber. More than 20 of the Chamber’s Board members are company Presidents or CEOs.


“I look forward to being a part of an organization that creates change, supports advocacy, and advances our business community. Colliers is always looking for ways to help make Boise a great place to live, work, and do business” said Shipman.


Jim Shipman is the President and COO of Colliers International in Idaho. His career began as an attorney in Denver, Colorado serving clients in the real estate industry in the early 1990’s. Since relocating from Salt Lake City in late 2017, Jim has become active in the Treasure Valley community. In addition to the Boise Metro Chamber, he is a current member of the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters Southwest Idaho. Shipman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Public Policy from Duke University, a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Denver, Strum School of Law and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of Denver, Daniels College of Business.
