COLLIERS NAMES JIM SHIPMAN PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Boise, Idaho – October 2, 2017– Colliers International Idaho has named Jim Shipman President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Jim will oversee all aspects of the brokerage and property management services, business development and departmental objectives.
The California native, who will be based in Boise at the Colliers office, will partner with George Iliff, Managing Owner. Shipman’s extensive background in real estate law, development, asset management and leadership will benefit Colliers clients within the Treasure Valley and beyond.

Most recently Shipman was Executive Vice President with Phillips Edison Companies, a diversified group of real estate companies with over $4 billion in assets. He was responsible for the management of all net lease, ground-up development as well as two investment funds with over $100 million in assets. Additionally, he is a licensed attorney with an emphasis in real estate law.
Shipman has been extensively involved in his previous communities as a member of the North Carolina, Colorado and Utah Bar Associations, Adams Camp for Developmentally Disabled Children, Salt Lake Arts Council, Head Coach of the East High School Baseball team and more.
Shipman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and a J.D. and MBA from University of Denver.
