Christine Torres, vice president with Colliers International | Chicago’s Downtown Office Advisory Group, represented BenchPrep™ in its 15,000-square-foot relocation to Willis Tower at 233 South Wacker Drive in Chicago.

BenchPrep is an e-learning innovator that accelerates success by putting the learning experience first. By streamlining content management, educator tools, dashboards, reporting, and e-commerce into one comprehensive, easy-to-use SaaS solution, BenchPrep has helped over 2.5 million learners achieve professional and academic success. Leaders in the world of learning and professional development, including ACT, HR Certification Institute, CompTIA, and CFA Institute, leverage BenchPrep’s technology to power their digital learning programs.

“Expanding BenchPrep's presence and moving our headquarters was a logical and necessary step as part of our business growth strategy,” said Ashish Rangnekar, CEO, BenchPrep. “It was just a few years ago that Ujjwal Gupta [COO/Co-founder] and I started BenchPrep, and yet now we are calling the iconic Willis Tower home. Our new work environment will help us achieve our aggressive revenue goals and continue attracting Chicago’s top talent to join our rapidly expanding team.”

BenchPrep’s 40 employees will relocate from a loft building located at 328 South Jefferson Street to Willis Tower. The new space at Willis Tower more than doubles the company’s existing square footage, as the company also expects to double its headcount.

The iconic 110-story Willis Tower is currently undergoing a $500 million renovation which will add amenities for building office tenants as well as new restaurants, entertainment and retail space. Willis Tower is owned by Blackstone, a private equity and real estate investment firm, and its Chicago affiliate, Equity Office Properties.

Maggie Brophy and Jamey Dix with The Telos Group represented ownership in this lease transaction.
