Crain's Chicago Business interviewed Brian Kling, principal with Colliers International | Chicago, regarding the Chicago-area industrial market at year-end 2017. The vacancy rate for Chicago-area industrial property fell to 6.80 percent in the fourth quarter, down from 6.85 percent in the third quarter, according to cited Colliers International research.
"It was a great quarter. It was a really good year," said Kling. "This was a year that really spoke to the growth of e-commerce and the impact it's having on industrial."
