Myrtle Beach, SC – The new Kirkland’s location in the SayeBrook Town Center is opening today, after committing to the lifestyle center earlier this year. The 7,560 square-foot store joins other major retailers in the center, including Target, Petco, Marshalls, Rack Room Shoes and Ulta. Kirkland’s kicks off the newest phase of SayeBrook Town Center. Several new suites are currently available, as are future development sites for retailers and restaurants.
“The great value of SayeBrook Town Center is that it is a planned residential and commercial community in an already-booming part of Myrtle Beach and we continue to have strong interest from national, regional and local retailers, and we expect more announcements in the coming months,” said Rox Pollard, Vice President of Colliers International | South Carolina. While the Jackson Companies was completing construction of the new Kirkland’s and the available adjacent retail space on the Main Street in the Town Center, construction also began on the new Socastee Middle School within the 740-acre SayeBrook community.
“This new state-of-the-art, energy-positive middle school provides the very valuable educational component of the community that will serve the residents of SayeBrook and surrounding neighborhoods”, said Steve Alger, Vice President of Development for the Jackson Companies.
Opened in 2012, SayeBrook Town Center is the commercial component of a master planned commercial and residential community which will include over 1,700 homes. It is located at the strategic intersection of Highway 544 and Highway 17 Bypass in the southern end of the Grand Strand.
