New Multifamily Investment Sales Team Strengthens Local Service Offering

Dallas–Fort Worth, January 3, 2019—Leading global commercial real estate services and investment management firm Colliers International Group Inc. (NASDAQ and TSX: CIGI) today announced the formation of a Dallas–Fort Worth Multifamily Investment Sales Team. The new offering will help multifamily real estate investors in Dallas–Fort Worth take advantage of Colliers’ market dominance, experience and broad reach to accelerate their success.

The three-person Multifamily Investment Sales Team will be led by newly hired Senior Vice President Mark Allen, a veteran in the multifamily real estate business. Committed to creating and preserving wealth for his clients, Allen provides comprehensive services in all phases of the marketing and transaction process and has experience in financing, property management, rehabilitation and due diligence underwriting. Before joining Colliers, Allen was vice president of investments at Marcus & Millichap, where he specialized in facilitating multifamily investment sales transactions. He received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in real estate from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a designated Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

The other members of the team are:

  • Amar Hayer, formerly a real estate asset manager with Friends Investment Group. In addition to multifamily investing, Hayer has experience in renovation, sales, asset management and property management. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. He speaks English, Punjabi and Hindi, as well as some Spanish. 
  • Courtland Charles, formerly an investment associate at Marcus & Millichap . Charles is finishing his bachelor’s degree in business/managerial economics from Texas Tech University.
