Colliers International in Gainesville Facilitates Two Leases for Arby’s Franchisee | New locations coming to Thornebrook Village and Newberry Road 

May 13, 2019 — Gainesville, Fla. — The Drotos Ryals Team of Colliers International in Gainesville facilitated two leases on behalf of Land O’Sun Management Corp., an Arby’s franchisee: one at an outparcel in the Thornebrook Village Shopping Center, and a second in the former Bono’s Pit Bar-B-Q at 6760 W Newberry Road.

The Drotos Ryals Team represented the tenant, Land O’Sun Management Corp, in both transactions. Asset Management, Inc. represented the landlord, Thornebrook Village Maintenance, Inc. in the Thornebrook Village transaction; Pro Realty of Gainesville represented the landlord, Lafayette Properties of Alachua County LLC, in the Newberry Road lease. 

Both ground leases will be converted to Arby’s, a popular fast food chain based in Ohio. Construction for the Thornebrook Village location is underway and expected to be completed by mid-June 2019. Construction on the Newberry Road location will commence in August with a goal of opening in fall 2019.

“These two leases bring the total of number of Arby’s locations in Gainesville to four. Our team is excited to represent this great operator as they continue to expand into our market,” said Drotos. “Arby’s has the meats, and we have the deals!”
