Upscale spa selects prominent space for expansion into Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson market.
Greenville, SC – Colliers International’s Scott Burgess and Lance Byars represented The Woodhouse Day Spa in their search for their second location in South Carolina, their first in the Upstate. They ultimately decided to lease space in Greenville’s Magnolia Park Town Center, where they are scheduled to open in Fall of 2019. The Woodhouse Day Spa is a nationally known provider of high-end spa services.
“We are excited to have worked with The Woodhouse Day Spa, who will bring a new level in luxurious spa services to the Greenville area. This is a premier brand, in a premier location, and this deal speaks volumes to the strength of our market,” said Byars, Brokerage Associate.
With locations in major metropolitan areas throughout the country, The Woodhouse Day Spa’s expansion into the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson market, commonly known as the Upstate, is indicative of the growing appeal of the region. Prominent national tenants are taking an interest in the region, and the Upstate retail market is strong, seeing low vacancy rates through 2018.
“The Woodhouse Day Spa’s nearest location is in the high-end Avalon town center in Atlanta, which boasts tenants like Anthropologie, Athleta and Crate & Barrel. Woodhouse is accustomed to offering an upscale experience that will be a great addition to the patrons of Magnolia Park and the Upstate region as a whole,” said Burgess, Brokerage Associate.
Burgess and Byars are both members of the Colliers retail brokerage team, specializing in the representation of owners, buyers and tenants in purchasing and leasing retail space.
