Colliers International represents the owner in the sale of Mauldin Centre

After a success with leasing, an out-of-state buyer has purchased the 32,000-square-foot flex park.

Greenville, SC – Colliers International’s Richard Barrett, MCR and Brannan Hudson assisted R&J Investments, Inc. in the sale of Mauldin Centre for $1,625,000.

“As Mauldin Centre became fully leased, we were thrilled at the chance to sell this property. The out-of-market interest, specifically from the buyer of this property, indicates to us the lasting strength of the Greenville market,” said Hudson, Brokerage Associate.

Richard Barrett had this leasing assignment for multiple years. When Barrett and Hudson were given the assignment to find a buyer for the property, Mauldin Centre was less than fully occupied. After they brought this building to 100% leased, they were tasked with and successful in the sale of the property.

Mauldin Centre consists of 32,000 square feet, with ten units in total, with a mix of tenants and lease terms. The seller is local to Greenville, with many similar properties in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson area. This type of building is excellent for smaller companies looking to establish a presence in the growing Greenville market. Most of the current tenants are small service companies, including HVAC, roofing, carpeting and flooring, solar, and technology.

The leasing and subsequent sale of Mauldin Centre reinforce the growth of the Greenville market, as flex or service type space often serves as a way for businesses to enter the market.

Barrett and Hudson are brokerage professionals with Colliers International | South Carolina who specialize in flex/industrial landlord and tenant representation throughout the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson market.
