Columbia, SC – Mickey E. Layden, President of LCK and Senior Vice President of Colliers International South Carolina, has been elected Executive Vice President of Colliers. Layden has been associated with Colliers for over thirty years, providing leadership of the firm’s Real Estate Management Services Division and establishing LCK in 1994. LCK, a partner firm of Colliers, is a regional certified woman-owned firm that delivers project management services solutions for institutions, corporations, private and governmental entities, non-profits and the educational sector.
Layden holds the PMP and CPM professional designations. She has held numerous leadership roles in state, regional and national industry organizations including the Institute of Real Estate Management. Her civic and community involvement is significant including serving as Chair of the Midlands Housing Alliance (Transitions), a member of the Executive Committee of the YMCA, a member of the Midlands Business Leadership Group and as a past member of the Board of the South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities. She is a member of Lexington Baptist Church and frequently participates in Global Missions projects.
She has often been recognized for her leadership by the civic and business communities, including being named as the recipient of the Influential Women in Business Award, The TWIN Award and The Girls Scouts Women of Distinction Award.
