Industry leader Greg Main-Baillie will lead the expanded division, which will include new team members throughout Florida

 

MIAMI, Fla. (April 25, 2019) – Colliers International Florida is growing its project management capabilities with an expanded statewide Development Services Division, led by project management expert Greg Main-Baillie. Main-Baillie has joined the company as Executive Managing Director and brings significant industry relationships, project management skills and a highly experienced team to grow Colliers’ project management services.

With an existing three-person project management team with a combined 25 years of experience, Colliers saw significant opportunity in the market to grow its services. Already highly skilled in retail, office, industrial, residential and hospitality construction supervision, the team will add team members in Orlando, Tampa Bay, and Jacksonville as well as additional personnel to the South Florida operation. 

The Development Services Division can manage ground-up construction, exterior building enhancements, interior renovations and predevelopment on behalf of third-party clients. The team has strong relationships with leading Florida architects, engineers and general contractors, ensuring a coordinated planning, design and construction process.

Main-Baillie, who brings over 17 years of project management experience, along with the other new team members, join Colliers from Foundry Commercial. Some of Main-Baillie’s most notable projects include the Miami Science Museum, a sprawling 250,000-square-foot museum in downtown Miami, valued at $305 million, along with two projects totaling over 1 million square feet of mixed-use industrial space in South Florida valued at over $232 million.

“Project management is complementary to the brokerage and property management business,” said Ryan Kratz, President of Colliers International’s Southeast Region. “Our clients frequently look to us for help after a lease or sale transaction is complete to build out the space and prepare it for the new tenant, or to help organize ground-up development.”

Colliers’ in-house project management service allows the firm to offer a one-stop-shop service to clients, from initial site selection to final tenant move-in. It can also increase the quality of build-out oversight for clients, ensuring a successful completion that’s on time and at or below anticipated cost projections. 

The Colliers project management team’s leadership will be based in South Florida, and the team will travel around the state depending on where projects are located.
