Colliers Negotiates Long-Term Lease for US-Leading Salmon Distributor
New lease in Medley sets Marine Harvest USA up for continued growth, more than doubling existing South Florida footprint
Medley, FL | March 7, 2018 – The Colliers International South Florida team of Erin Byers and Steven Wasserman along with Ward Richmond of Colliers International Dallas’ office has represented tenant Marine Harvest USA in a new long-term lease at Airport North Logistics Park in Medley. The move from 8550 NW 17th Street in Doral will more than double the firm’s existing South Florida footprint and will serve as a new corporate office for US operations for Marine Harvest USA. Colliers negotiated the full building, build-to-suit 106,000 square foot lease – spanning more than ten years – with owner L&B Realty.
Parent company Marine Harvest ASA is one of the largest seafood companies in the world, and the world’s largest producer of Atlantic salmon. Operating in 24 countries and supplying seafood to more than 70 markets worldwide, the company has strategic US locations in Miami, FL, and Dallas, TX, enabling them to ship fresh, never-frozen fish anywhere in the United States.

"This new building in a business-friendly market like Medley is the ideal location for logistics and labor force and a win for the firm’s short and long-term operational goals."
Located east of NW 87th Avenue and NW 80th Street, Airport North Logistics Park Building 4 will be a free-standing building serving as a full-service salmon processing and distribution facility along with corporate office for US operations. The interior warehouse space will undergo significant improvements to include a large portion of temperature-controlled, food-grade space, when construction is complete before the end of the year.
