Shane Douglas, Doug Ryan and Janet Sterchi become owners
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Colliers International | Nashville has named longtime team members Shane Douglas, Doug Ryan and Janet Sterchi as partners, making them owners of the firm.
The Colliers | Nashville ownership team has grown significantly over the past five years, increasing its members from six partners to 12, including the recent addition of three women to the team. Douglas, Ryan and Sterchi are joining the current ownership team, which includes Bert Mathews, Terry Smith, Chris Grear, Phil Ehrlich, Tony Vaughn, Nate Greene, Tom Davis, Janet Miller and Char Ford.

Douglas joins the Colliers | Nashville ownership team as a top producer of the firm, with approximately $500 million in closed transaction value. Some of his notable transactions include United Health Services, Barge Design Solutions, Inc., and Creative Artists Agency. Douglas specializes in tenant representation and was recently engaged, along with Mathews, to advise Bass, Berry & Sims on future location choices. Douglas is on the board of directors of the Nashville Downtown Rotary. He is also a member of SIOR, CCIM, NAIOP and Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. He was a Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce Emerging Leader Award finalist in 2012. Douglas is a member of the prestigious Occupier Advisor group for Colliers International.
Ryan joins the Colliers | Nashville ownership team as a top producer of the firm. He joined the firm in 2014 with more than 20 years of broad-based commercial real estate experience. Prior to his work at Colliers, Ryan was first vice president at CBRE in office brokerage and previously owned a real estate consulting practice. He and Sterchi created a brokerage team at Colliers that has been widely recognized. Some of his notable transactions include HealthStream, Lipscomb University, Microsoft, Ankura Consulting, Dekalb Office, UBS Tower, American Addiction Centers and Bridgestone. He has been a consistent top producer of the firm and received the NAIOP Nashville’s Broker of the Year Award in 2014. He is a member of NAIOP and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. He and Sterchi currently represent Southwest Value Partners on the Nashville Yards project.
Sterchi joins the Colliers | Nashville ownership team as a top producer of the firm, bringing with her more than 20 years of industry experience. Along with Ryan, she formed an office brokerage team in 2011 that has been recognized as one of the top leasing teams in Middle Tennessee. Sterchi has received numerous awards throughout her career, including the CBRE distinguished Colbert Coldwell Circle, NAIOP Office Broker of the Year, and multiple Office Lease of the Year and Top Producer awards. Her notable transactions include HealthStream, Ford Motor Credit, Lipscomb University, Microsoft, Ankura Consulting, KPMG, Dekalb Office, One Century Place, UBS Tower, American Addiction Centers and Bridgestone. She and Ryan currently represent Southwest Value Partners on the Nashville Yards project. Sterchi is a member of the prestigious Occupier Advisor group for Colliers International.
