Construction has been completed on the 50,000-sf innovation center in Apex, North Carolina that will house Pentair, a leading global water company focused on smart, sustainable water and fluid treatment solutions.
Colliers International represented Pentair in the deal, led by Kathy Gigac, Baxter Walker, and Thomas Kenna from Colliers Raleigh-Durham, and Robin Zellmer from Colliers Minneapolis. The Colliers team assisted with the search for developers in the market, eventually selecting Keystone Corporation of Raleigh to develop the build-to-suit, which includes office, lab, and warehouse space.
Pentair announced the expansion and construction of their state-of-the-art innovation center in February 2018. The Apex building is Pentair’s third location in North Carolina, with a manufacturing center in Sanford and a regional headquarters in Cary. The economic impact of this expansion to Pinnacle Center Drive is significant, representing over 50 jobs created and an $11M investment for the town of Apex.
