Colliers provided owner’s project management services for the Town of West Springfield’s Public Library Project. The Library project included the construction of a new 31,000 square foot addition. The project included the demolition of the existing additions, hazardous material abatement as required to accommodate the new facility, full restoration and repairs to the original historic structure, new HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression systems, electrical and telephone/data infrastructure. The completed facility received LEED Certification.
In the role of owner’s project manager, Colliers provided management, technical guidance and support throughout the completion of the project’s design, bidding and construction phases. Services included assisting in negotiation and contract establishment with the architect and construction manager, review of design and construction documents to identify value engineering opportunities, periodic on-site presence during construction, and management and regular reporting on the project budget, finances and schedule.
