A Bumpy Start
2017 finished on a high note, but the Chicago suburban office market has since witnessed a slight setback in 2018.
Despite ending the first quarter of 2018 with negative absorption, eight new lease transactions greater than 25,000 square feet were signed in the Chicago suburban office market in first quarter of 2018. In addition, several large transactions signed in 2017 – including Amita Health and Brightstar – will commence throughout 2018.
