The Cincinnati office market posted a modest gain in occupancy during the third quarter of 2018, recording 38,533 square feet of positive net absorption. The overall market vacancy rate remained unchanged at 15.1%. Net absorption for the year remains negative due to the addition of two large single-occupier buildings to the vacant inventory supply early in the year. Humana vacated 254,000 square feet in CBD Periphery submarket and Toyota’s national consolidation to Dallas left its 200,000-square-foot North American Manufacturing headquarters building in Erlanger, KY available to the market.
