The Taylor Corporation transaction downtown is the largest lease signed in some time in the Dayton market and accounts for a significant portion of this quarter’s positive absorption. However, there has been positive momentum throughout the market, especially in the South and East submarkets. Notably, leasing activity has resulted in a larger net gain in occupancy than in previous years, indicating occupiers are expanding rather than simply trading spaces.
