During the third quarter of 2018, the Dayton industrial market recorded a modest net gain in occupancy of 490,343 square feet, offsetting the loss last quarter and pushing net absorption for he year positive. The overall market vacancy rate remained unchanged at 7.2% due to the addition of new supply to the inventory. The overall average weighted asking rental rate was virtually unchanged on a quarter-over-quarter basis at $3.48 per square foot (NNN), but has increased 6.4% over the past 12 months.
