Following a slow start to the year, the Jacksonville office market experienced positive activity in the second quarter 2017 with 399,542 square feet of space absorbed. This has brought the mid-year absorption to 488,592 square feet.  The leading market was the Butler/Baymeadows submarket, which accounted for 337,373 square feet absorbed year-to-date.  Both the Butler/Baymeadows and Southside submarkets remain Jacksonville’s most active areas for office relocations and expansions, with over 750,000 square feet in leasing activity in the last six months.
