Developers Are Betting On the Omaha Industrial Market
For the last few years the Omaha industrial market vacancy rate has hovered around 3.0 percent. The second quarter of 2018 is no exception, coming in at exactly 3.0 percent vacancy. Over the past ten years, much of the newly constructed product took place in the single-tenant, build-to-suit marketplace. Developers did not believe they could build speculative product at a rate that made sense with the current asking rents. A few took a chance with great success.
