  • Trailing 12 months: 23,939 (+13.4% Y-o-Y)

Permitting – Multifamily (5+ units):

  • March 2019: 769 (+107.8% Y-o-Y)
  • Trailing 12 months: 6,000 (-34.9 % Y-o-Y)

Index – Employment-to-Permit Ratio:

  • March 2019: 2.13

The employment-to-permit ratio (E/P) looks at how well supply is keeping up with demand.

Prior to joining Colliers in 2006, I specialized in land at NAI Horizon for two and a half years. My commercial real estate career began at CB Richard Ellis in 1983, selling apartments. During my 21 years with the company, I transitioned from apartments sales to the sale of land for apartment developments. My experience in the sale of apartments solidified my awareness of the value of proximate amenities to land locations. I translate this knowledge into every land use from residential to retail and office.
