2019 Q1 Salt Lake County Industrial Report

Download Research Report

Salt Lake County’s strong industrial market is off to a good start so far in 2019.Despite a decrease of roughly 1,936,177 square feet in absorption since the first quarter of 2018 —when large amounts of completed construction caused a spike in absorption —continued construction has allowed industrial supply to catch up with demand. Vacancy rates continue to decline, decreasing from 3.18 percent at this time last year to 2.70 percent currently —an impressive feat considering the large amounts of new product that have been completed over the last three years.
