My Team
As an Assistant Vice President on the Boston Capital Markets team, I have the incredible opportunity to advise clients on debt and equity transactions across all asset types. Alongside the team, I work to create a market on behalf of our clients, finding optimal financing options tailored to the client’s specific business plan. I focus on a wide array of financing opportunities including ground-up construction, transitional bridge, and long-term permanent financing on stabilized assets. I strive to find, negotiate and navigate our clients through the ever-evolving capital markets, adding value and expertise throughout the entire process and following loan closing.
Prior to joining Colliers, I spent five years focusing on debt origination for two of the top commercial real estate platforms in the industry. I previously worked for J.P. Morgan where I spent my time sourcing, underwriting and originating CMBS and balance sheet transactions. I began my career at Deutsche Bank Securities where I also focused on loan origination. Throughout my tenure, I have executed over one billion dollars of capital market transactions across all asset types. I have always loved working in the capital markets, as it connects commercial real estate and debt, two of the largest arenas in the world. My passion for debt initially transpired when I had the opportunity to intern for the municipal bond trading desk at MFS in Boston. During that time, the largest municipal bankruptcy in United States history occurred and I have been captivated by debt ever since.
I am motivated to provide the highest level of service to clients and to embody the strength of the Colliers platform through our capital markets expertise. In time not spent on deals, I enjoy reading about historical and current capital markets trends. I am an avid international rugby fan, enjoy playing golf, and love spending time with my family and friends.
Since joining in 2015, I have worked on the Capital Markets | Debt and Equity team for Colliers International | Boston, one of the largest structured finance platforms in New England. I specialize in planning, advising, and execution of client capitalization strategies for all asset types. Leveraging an extensive network of capital sources, I have closed over $800 million in permanent, construction, bridge, mezzanine and joint venture equity funding.
As the Managing Director, Research & Client Services, I oversee all aspects of our Client Service offerings, including Research, Marketing, Graphics, Financial Analysis, Lease Administration, and Client Service Coordination. I ensure that our brokers are providing superior service and deliverables to existing and potential clients. At the same time, I assist brokers with pitch preparation and delivery, while continuing to push the Colliers brand via best-in-class research reports, thought leadership, and contributions to numerous panels, media, and industry events throughout the city.
I collaborate with every team at our firm and wear many hats: in-house economist, advisor, consultant, thought leader, strategic business analyst, presenter, and, of course, researcher. My team and I manage the information and intelligence in our proprietary database, which, dating from the late 1980s, includes detailed property statistics on nearly 220 million SF of office space as well as on lab properties in the Greater Boston area. We also track more than 150 million SF of industrial properties in our market.
Communication is integral in my work. I write our quarterly Market Viewpoint series, internal submarket and lab reports, and Colliers In Focus thought pieces. I offer market insight as a monthly guest on Bloomberg Radio’s Baystate Business, and I’m a frequent resource for Bisnow, Banker & Tradesman, The Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal, The Real Reporter, and other publications.
Before joining Colliers, I spent 11 years with Property & Portfolio Research (PPR), now CoStar Portfolio Strategy. There, I advised institutional clients on their commercial real estate investment strategies across property sectors and also spoke at industry events, quarterly CoStar webinars, and in front of client audiences. I also led and directed a team of economists who monitored property markets across the United States. Near the end of my tenure, I helped establish a new business unit at CoStar, leading in the hiring, training, and coaching of a team of 50 market analysts.
Outside of the office, I like to cheer on my children’s extracurricular activities. I also hike, travel, relax at home or at the lake, or plug away at one home project or another. Last but not least, I’m an avid fan of Boston sports teams.
Mr. Dessalines joined Colliers International in 2020 where he is currently a Research Analyst. Mr. Dessalines’ responsibilities include analyzing and identifying market trends, working with brokerage teams on multiple client-related projects and initiatives, preparing quarterly market reports, and supporting the leasing and Capital Markets teams with various property and market level research.
Mr. Dessalines has worked in the real estate industry since his undergraduate days at Stonehill College. Prior to joining Colliers, Mr. Dessalines was a Brokerage Intern at CBRE in 2017 and then, upon graduation the following year, Mr. Dessalines joined JLL as a Data Analyst where he focused on tracking the Boston, Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut real estate markets.
Maggie Collins joined Colliers International in 2016 and serves as the Sr. Client Services Specialist for the Multi-Family Advisory Group.
In this capacity, Ms. Collins is responsible for presentation and document preparation, marketing and proposal production, project research, sale comps, database tracking, and correspondence monitoring.
Prior to joining Colliers, Ms. Collins served as brokerage coordinator at Boston Realty Advisors where she was responsible for coordination of brokerage activities & marketing distribution for the Multi-Family Advisory Group. Ms. Collins also served as senior membership & events coordinator at the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, focusing on membership & events coordination for two commercial real estate associations.

Director - Business Development & Content Strategy
Boston
In the Director of Marketing role, I work collaboratively on behalf of and alongside representatives from each of our service lines to simultaneously promote the depth of expertise Colliers offers and support teams’ individual and/or collaborative marketing efforts. Building upon a great five-year experience working almost exclusively with the Suburban Brokerage leasing team, I now enjoy ongoing opportunities to cross departments and meet and support my colleagues who bring a wide array of industry expertise. This unique vantage point has given me a strong appreciation and respect for the high level of cooperation, transparency, and camaraderie between groups.
Prior to joining Colliers, I spent four years as an associate with a real estate brokerage firm in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, working with an elite industrial brokerage team in a true distribution hub market. I developed an interest in and appreciation for supply chain decisions and logistics management, learning that there is much more than meets the eye with what most would perceive as “gritty” warehouse buildings. This experience also afforded me opportunities to learn about different aspects of real estate above and beyond just leasing and disposition, including, but not limited to, property management, development, marketing and research – all invaluable exposure as I now interact with departments within Colliers specializing in each of these disciplines.
In this high energy, competitive industry, I strive to maintain a strong work ethic and calm temperament in my pursuit to provide the highest level of service and support to clients and colleagues. Beyond the office, I enjoy relaxing with family and friends, traveling, and tackling an ever-growing list of home improvements.
