With more than nine years of experience providing strategic marketing solutions in the commercial real estate sector, I consider myself an accomplished Marketing Manager. I am responsible for leading marketing for the South Florida region and supporting brokers and clients in four key marketing areas that include pitches & presentations, property marketing, positioning, and providing creative marketing resource solutions. I work with the market leader and industry-leading brokers with various product types in developing impactful strategies to better position our clients’ listings.
I have a knack for design and enjoy creating compelling marketing packages that push boundaries and stand out from the competition. Some of my other responsibilities include lead generation, digital and print advertising, recruitment, merchandising, training and events.
Prior to joining Colliers, I worked at FedEx Office, where I was the Store Manager responsible for the center’s daily operations, staff and revenue.

As a Marketing Specialist in the Fort Lauderdale office of Colliers International South Florida, I work to strengthen the core marketing team with a focus on implementing creative marketing strategies for property sales and leasing. In my role, I bring more than seven years of commercial real estate experience to build upon our marketing capabilities and further streamline brokerage support, including the development of high-end marketing collateral for the South Florida team.
I possess a strong background of brokerage support and creative marketing solutions, having launched my commercial real estate career at Colliers International in Seattle and later expanding my role as a Marketing Assistant at the Seattle office of JLL. While there, I partnered with the brokerage teams to develop customized marketing materials, blending traditional and web-based deliverables to help brokers win and support new business.
In 2015, I transferred to the Fort Lauderdale office of JLL, where I expanded my skill set and responsibilities, supporting Office and Industrial brokers in both landlord and tenant representation as well as sales. My team benefits from my familiarity with diverse industry platforms, such as CoStar, LoopNet and VTS as well as multiple programs that support creative deliverables, including Adobe Creative Suite, Wix, and StepMap.
Digital Marketing Specialist
As a Digital Marketing Specialist in the Fort Lauderdale office, Mathew adds depth to the corporate services platform, including video creation and social media presence. Mathew brings more than two years of experience developing engaging and innovative digital and print designs for clients in a broad range of industries.
Prior to joining Colliers, Mathew served as Marketing Coordinator for Beauty Schools of America, where he partnered with the graphic design to team to deliver client content and supported marketing initiatives.
Mathew also served as Graphic Designer and Marketing Associate for the Law Offices of Rudolph F.X. Migliore, P.C., where his responsibilities included spearheading the design and execution of print and digital marketing packages and managing the firm's website and social media accounts.
Peter Johnston brings more than seven years of marketing expertise in the real estate sector to his role as Marketing Specialist for the South Florida offices of Colliers International. He specializes in creating and executing marketing strategies to build brand awareness and increase market share. As a member of the Creative Marketing Services team, he provides a high level of marketing support to a three-person Retail Services team. This encompasses custom-designed proposal books, offering memorandums, brochures, placemats, specialty folders and inserts, property flyers, email blasts, maps, aerials, floor and site plans.
Prior to joining Colliers, Mr. Johnston served as Brokerage Coordinator to a top-producing team of nine commercial real estate brokers and analysts between the Boca Raton and Miami offices of Cushman & Wakefield. While there, he spearheaded the creation and maintenance of the team’s marketing resources, including team website, CRM, social media and email marketing. He also analyzed markets trends and competitive landscape to create data-driven campaigns and increase conversion, engagement and retention rates.
He brings additional industry-related experience from roles as Marketing Manager with CBRE and Douglas Elliman in South Florida.
Mr. Johnston holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Florida State University.
