Valeri is responsible for ensuring Colliers property management teams in Walnut Creek provide best-in-class service to clients and tenants. She is experienced in all aspects of management and operations, including due diligence, budget development, strategic planning, value creation, marketing, and lease negotiation. In addition to leading Colliers in delivering smooth day-to-day operations in the region, Valeri also provides direction on implementation of new initiatives and best practices.
Valeri has more than 30 years of experience working in commercial real estate, which includes over 15 years in property management as well as project and contract management. Prior to joining Colliers International, she worked with RREEF Management Company as a Senior Property Manager, and with The Cranbrook Group and Wilson Equity/Office as a Property Manager.

As Property Manager for Colliers International, I'm currently responsible for the management of a portfolio of retail shopping centers located within the Bay Area where I oversee all aspects of property management including operations, tenant relations, vendor oversight and financial reporting.
I joined Colliers in 2015 with more than ten years of experience managing retail, office and industrial properties for institutional and private equity clients. Prior to joining Colliers, I worked for such firms as Equity Office, JLL and River Rock Real Estate Group where I was responsible for the management of several institutional grade projects such as the Pruneyard Shopping Center and Office Towers, Skyport Plaza and the Clorox Building, a 24-story Class-A high-rise project with retail on the two lower levels.
My professional experience includes building operations management, preparation of budgets, CAM reconciliations and financial reporting, overseeing capital improvements as well as establishing and maintaining strong tenant and client relations. I am also experienced with managing distressed assets for loan servicers such as Wells Fargo Bank and LNR Property Corporation where I successfully reduced operating costs while recovering revenues from defaulted tenants.
In addition to my commercial real estate experience, I spent three years with Keller Williams Real Estate where I worked closely with my clients on the purchase and sale of residential investment properties as well as primary residences. I received the “Rookie of the Month” award for my strong sales record and fostering client growth.
I hold a State of California Real Estate License and I am a graduate of California State University, Hayward, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an option in Corporate Management and Marketing. I'm currently working to complete the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation with BOMI International.
As Property Manager for Colliers International, I manage a diverse portfolio of office and industrial properties throughout Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. My duties include property management, lease administration and construction management. I've been involved in the commercial property management field for more than 9 years. Prior to joining Colliers, I served as Property Manager for Park Street Properties, a privately held real estate development company in Alameda, managing a portfolio of commercial, retail and residential properties in Oakland, Alameda and San Francisco. My responsibilities included lease negotiations, contract administration, coordination of capital projects and tenant improvements, preparation of financial reports, leasing and property operations.
I also served as Real Estate Services Coordinator with CB Richard Ellis assisting the Senior Real Estate Manager in the day-to-day management of a 300,000 square foot two-building Class-A commercial office complex in Walnut Creek. My primary responsibilities were tenant and vendor relations, lease and contract administration, and management of on-site staff. While with CBRE, I contributed to a number of challenging projects, such as achieving the building’s first Energy Star certification.
I began my career with RREEF Management/Deutsche Bank where I was involved with multiple projects, including the management of a large industrial portfolio of 1 Million square feet. Through the varied levels of support I provided while with RREEF Management/Deutsche Bank, I cultivated the first of my enduring relationships with other industry professionals, tenants and vendors. This experience provided me with the foundation on which I have built many successful professional relationships, as well as the training and standards I continue to model today.
