Self-Storage Facilities Have Joined the Big Leagues

The U.S. self-storage sector has joined the big leagues, recently attracting a great deal of interest from investors. Over the past two decades, sales volume of self-storage properties has totaled approximately $28.2 billion, according to data from Real Capital Analytics. More notable, however, is the growth this asset class has experienced in recent years — nearly 80%, or $22.2 billion, of that volume has occurred within the past five years. View the Article
