Colliers International has closed the sale of the new Integrated Service Center for IU Health, a 293,423-square foot Class A institutional warehouse facility located in Plainfield, Indiana.
Colliers marketed the property on behalf of the Prologis / Browning Investments joint venture. A private purchaser bought the property for an undisclosed price.
This newly developed facility represents the most sophisticated hospital run supply chain operation in the nation. The facility features 32’ clear height, 52’ x 50’ column spacing with 70’ speed bays, internal and external LED lighting, hydraulic levelers with locks and ESFR fire protection. Additionally, IU Health has invested over $9 million in the facility to create advanced logistics processes through a robotically controlled picking system that will enhance patient care throughout the system by improving the distribution of critical medical and other supplies to its statewide system of 14 hospitals and 25+ medical facilities.
The Midwest Industrial Investment Team consisting of Jeff Devine, Steve Disse and Alex Cantu led the sale process of the asset. Additionally, Matt McGrady and Cam Kucic with the Indianapolis office provided leasing support for the transaction.
