Colliers Facilitates Multiple Lease Transactions Valued Over $2.8 Million

Richmond, VA – September 25, 2020 – Colliers International Virginia, LLC has successfully secured four new leases and four renewals across Virginia and one new lease in Tennessee. This week’s transactions combined for a total of 62,086 square feet and are valued at over $2.8 million.

New transactions consisted of the following:

  • CSL Plasma Inc. leased 10,627 square feet at 5724 Hopkins Road in Richmond. Colliers’ Harrison Hall, Peter Vick and Maddy Spear represented the landlord
  • Kokonut Box LLC. leased 2,200 square feet at 10921 W Broad Street F in Glen Allen. Colliers’ Harrison Hall and Peter Vick represented the landlord
  • Lululemon Pop Up has signed a lease at 1501 Central Park Blvd in Fredericksburg. Colliers’ Robby Brownfield, Rob Black, Chris Doyle, Lee Cherwek and Chris Read represented the landlord
  • Lumber Liquidators Inc. signed a new 12,272 square foot lease at 115 Terminal Road in Clarksville, Tennessee. Colliers’ David Wilkins, Harrison Hall, Peter Vick and Hamilton Shaheen represented the tenant

Renewals consisted of the following:

  • Motorola Solutions Inc. renewed their 5,314 square foot lease at 1732 E Parham Road in Richmond. Colliers’ David Wilkins, Rebecca Barricklow and Joe Marchetti represented the landlord
  • Richmond Gastroenterology Associates Inc. renewed their 3,361 square foot lease at 8262 Atlee Road in Mechanicsville. Colliers’ John Carpin and Malcolm Randolph represented the landlord

As an associate, Hamilton specializes in site selection, tenant and landlord representation, land sales and investment sales.  Hamilton works with Retail Directors Peter Vick and Harrison Hall in the Richmond office as a member of the Retail Services Team. 

Prior to joining Colliers, Hamilton worked for Marcus & Millichap in their San Diego office located in La Jolla, California. Hamilton provided value to a top multifamily investment sales team as a financial analyst and researcher. He gained significant exposure working alongside a team that specialized in the selling of multifamily apartment buildings in San Diego county, as well as facilitating clients' 1031 exchanges into like-kind properties such as apartments, triple-net, retail, and mobile home properties. Additionally, he was involved in the process of providing valuations for properties both nationally and throughout San Diego County. Prior to his experience at Marcus & Millichap, Hamilton began his real estate career working with Eagle Construction in their GreenGate mixed-use development.

He has handled project leasing for existing and ground-up developments. He has handled the disposition of numerous commercial investment sales that include grocery anchored shopping centers as well as single tenant NNN sales. Peter has been involved in the leasing of over two million square feet of commercial space and the disposition/acquisition of over $150M in sales.

Prior to joining Colliers, Peter was Senior Vice President of Retail Sales and Leasing at Divaris Real Esate in Richmond, VA. Madison Spear

Maddy Spear joined the Retail Leasing and Sales Team as an Associate, following her graduation from the University of Mary Washington with degrees in Business Administration and English. In the Summer of 2017, Maddy interned with the firm and through this experience she was able to partner with all service lines within the Hampton Roads office. Currently, Maddy travels between Richmond and Hampton Roads and is very familiar with both markets.

In 2019, Maddy and another associate leased 15 spaces in two months at Lynnhaven North, a 173,191 square foot center in Virginia Beach. They back filled 2 box spaces (totaling over 68,000 square feet) that has been vacant for 1 and 3 years respectively.
