Refresco Beverages Takes Tampa Bay Warehouse
South Carolina-based RealOp Investments signed an $18 million lease with Refresco Beverages US, Inc. at a 364,084-square-foot warehouse in Tampa Bay. The facility at 5210 S. 16th Ave. (pictured) formerly housed Southern Wine & Spirits, which had vacated the property.
The space will be used as a distribution warehouse, which the beverage manufacturer plans to move into in July. Refresco, which also has a manufacturing plant in Tampa, is the world’s largest independent bottler for retailers and A-brands in Europe and North America.
Colliers International’s Ryan Vaught and Robyn Hurrell represented the landlord. Foundry Commercial advised the tenant.
Vaught and Hurrell also handled the sale of a 90,037-square-foot, last-mile distribution facility in Tampa. The seller was San Juan Capistrano, CA-based Birtcher Anderson Realty, while the buyer was Dogwood Industrial Properties. The warehouse is 100% leased to such tenants as AriZona Iced Tea, the Tampa Bay Times and VPX Nutrition.
